Seltzer and Lime, Please
My go to this year has been those yummy spiked seltzers that are out. You know, Smirnoff Spiked Seltzers, Truly, White Claw, etc. I LOVE them. They taste great, and they are low on the Weight Watchers Smart Points. But, they can get pricey. So, I have taken to mixing my own spiked seltzer.
Simple Spiked Seltzer Recipe
- Fill A Medium/Large Glass With Ice
- Squeeze A Wedge Of Lime Over The Ice
- Pour In 1.5—3 oz Of Vodka (depending on the size of your glass – an average-sized shot glass is about 1.5 oz and also a great way to measure)
- Top Off With Seltzer
- Stir And Enjoy!
Variations to Your Spiked Seltzer
An easy way to modify this drink is to add flavored seltzer. If you’re aren’t a fan of limes, or don’t have any fresh on hand, any flavor will work. And over time, this will allow you to try a variety of flavored seltzers to figure out what you enjoy the most.
Whatever your drink of choice, please drink responsibly.
